Statement From the Director/ Acknowledgements

The production of this movie was quite an adventure and by no means a solitary effort. I wish to thank about a billion people:

The 2380 Project (all its past and current members) and N.J. Brown, who did an invaluable job of setting up an organization that gave me this wonderful opportunity.

All the people who have supported The 2380 Project and have helped it to grow as an organization: Dean James Lynn, Dr. Dudley Turner, Dr. Carolyn Anderson, Ron McDonald, Dr. Phil Hoffman, Tom Beck, Dr. Sylvia White, Dr. Rich Caplan, Dean Long, Rich Kent, Blake Thompson, Linda Miller, Kathy Magnum.

Organizations that have also supported and helped The 2380 project: U.A. Associated Student Government, Z-TV, WZIP-FM, U.A. School of Communications.

All my main actors—Ben, Heather, Jaki, Rachel, Jenna, Jennifer, Ron and Liz—who went out of their way to learn lines, film at weird hours, make long drives. You guys were great and thank you for sticking with me.

Mike Wendt, for always being honest and reliable and for always rushing that trip from Berea to Akron to run the camera, and for being there during all other crises, especially ones involving Final Muh-fuckin’ Pro.

My parents, for personal and financial support (I can just see, in my head, the face my father will make when he reads the words “financial support”), and for allowing me to film in their home.

Mike Honeck, for providing his dorm room as a location and for always having an intelligent answer to my stupid questions.

The Nervous Dog coffee shop in Akron, who so graciously allowed me to film at the last minute.

Stan Siedlecki and Bethany Hendrix, who both allowed me to use their apartments as locations for a raucous party scene (okay, it wasn’t that raucous).

Everyone who was an extra.

Jesse Dill, for helping with sound.

Kyle Wertz, for providing a hilarious song.

Jill Moliterno, for reading my screenplay and telling me it didn’t suck (hopefully she told the truth).

All the piano players in the Akron Student Union who I repeatedly had to ask if they could please not play at this moment.
